We've changed the special item for our Subscription Quester, Councilor, and Goddess plans. We will be changing this special item slot every month.

Note on the special item from the subscription plans: If you are currently subscribed to one of these plans (Quester, Councilor, and Goddess), you will get this month's item on the day your subscription renews. If you get charged a few days before the special item changes out, meaning you get a second copy of the previous prize, you can file a ticket to get it swapped to the new one!

I’m confused because mine runs out end of month which I’m getting?
I want to renew if finances come in but the smoke in Oregon has been pretty rough with my so having to call in ( he works out in smoke and it’s been toxic) so crossing fingers things sort out for the entire area. Still worried about everyone losing their homes out here ;;

Can I admit something stupid? Yes? Ok...I had no idea that you got a new item every time your sub renewed. I thought it was a one time thing like when you just buy CSC. I became a Quester just to help out, honestly, because I get so much enjoyment out of this site, but that's all I could afford right now. And now that I know I get a new item every time, I'm freaking the sweet f*** out lmao. Good times.

I don't know why people are making comments about some players asking simple questions. I made a ticket and the old item was swapped out for the new one (Thank You). I just wanted to know if the item would change out on the same date every month so that I could change my renewal date to avoid filing a ticket every month. I hate making tickets, and I am sure staff does not want a ton of the same tickets every month. No big deal. No demands made. No pressure was put on anyone. I am not going to search through the forums to find a post when I can just ask an innocent question on the news feed. I do appreciate the staff, and I have been nothing but supportive. That is why I am paying $15 for a subscription! Please stop trying to act like asking a question is criticism of some kind.
If players want this site to survive and thrive, maybe show a little support to fellow players also. We are all going through difficult and hard times in rl too!

Pretty ironic that the last news post is filled with nearly 100 supportive comments from users encouraging staff to take their time, stay safe and healthy, step back from the site if they need to—then this news post’s comments are mostly, “Ugh, I got the wrong pixels and they were LATE, fix it immediately.” And as an added bonus: there’s a thread in the forums made entirely about the same issue.

Staff already communicated to us on several occasions that they’re all going through a tough time, and to please be patient with them. Y’all are making them perform unnecessary emotional labor to repeatedly reassure you of what has already been acknowledged.

So pretty! I filed a ticket yesterday and already got the corrected item. Give them a little slack while they work out the kinks, this IS still a new feature ya know.

It astounds me how so many "adults" on here seem to forget the people that run this site are human too. I try to make sure to leave a positive comment whenever these things happen just so they know not all players are unappreciative of the measures taken to keep this site up and running.

I’m assuming based on the last news post that staff are having RL issues such as the fires/protests that it may have played a part in why the special item was added a little late this month. I very much doubt it’ll happen every month, but these are extraordinary circumstances. It’s annoying sure but with Some staff being stuck where the fires are maybe we should cut them a little slack this month.

Got a $5 sub (if I wasn't so poor I would do the $15), not sure if I'm going to be able to keep it up but we'll see ♥️

I'm super confused on how this works too @Aynjell @Unsighted @Disasters in case y'all didn't see. Is this going to cause people to miss out entirely? Someone else above me already mentioned that theirs had renewed and they got last month's item. Any helpful answers from staff would be much appreciated <3

I re-subscribed this morning (since there is strangely no option to upgrade your subscription), and got the old item. Does this mean I will have to wait a month for the new one? Will I always be a month late? Or does this mean I missed out on the new item completely? This is so aggravating. Can't this just be changed to the 1st of the month? I didn't want this extra thing, and didn't know I had to keep it to exchange it for the proper item later.
